Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Relevé Studio website at relevehk.com (the "Website") and your participation in the Pilates, GYROTONIC®, and related classes and services we provide (the "Services"). By using the Website, booking a Service, or confirming acceptance in our booking system, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or book a class.

Who We Are

Relevé Studio is operated from 6/F, 71 Strand, 69-71 Bonham Strand East, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. For any question about these Terms please contact us at contact@relevehk.com.

Booking, Cancellations and Late Arrivals

• All classes are booked through our MindBody system, by WhatsApp, or by email. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us.
• Prices, packages and class durations are those shown on the Website or in MindBody at the time of booking. We may change them from time to time; changes do not affect bookings already confirmed.
• Cancellations and rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the class start time. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, are charged in full or deducted from your package.
• Late arrivals may shorten your session so that the next class is not affected. Sessions missed due to late arrival are not refunded or rescheduled.
• Class packages have the expiry period stated at the point of purchase. Unused sessions after the expiry date cannot be carried over unless agreed in writing. We will consider reasonable extensions on medical or other compelling grounds on written request.

Health, Safety and Assumption of Risk

Pilates, GYROTONIC® and related exercise methods carry inherent physical risks. By attending a class you confirm that:

• You are in general good health, or you have consulted a qualified physician before starting, and you are fit to participate.
• You have disclosed to your instructor any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or recent surgery that could affect the session.
• You will follow the instructor's guidance, and will stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or any abnormal symptom.
• You understand that Pilates, GYROTONIC® and related exercise involve inherent risks including, without limitation, muscle strains and sprains, joint injury, musculoskeletal discomfort, dizziness, and the possibility of aggravating a pre-existing condition. You voluntarily assume these risks.

Information on this Website and from our instructors is general fitness information and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified physician for any concern about a medical condition.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Relevé Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or participation in a Service. We are also not liable for injury or loss caused solely by your failure to follow the instructor's guidance, your failure to disclose a relevant medical condition, or conduct that is reckless or outside the scope of the class. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability the exclusion of which is prohibited by applicable law.

Studio Rules and Conduct

• Please arrive clean, in suitable activewear, and with grip socks. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studio area.
• Equipment is to be used only as instructed by the instructor. Please report any damage immediately.
• Respect the quiet atmosphere, fellow clients, and instructors. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. This right is applied equally to all clients and will never be exercised on any ground protected under Hong Kong anti-discrimination law.
• Personal belongings remain your responsibility. Clients are asked to keep valuables with them; we provide cubbies or lockers but, save as required by law, accept no liability for loss of or damage to items left in the studio.

Photography and Media

We may occasionally take photographs or videos in the studio for marketing or educational use. We will ask for your consent before capturing a recognisable image of you, and you may refuse or withdraw that consent at any time by emailing contact@relevehk.com. Consent given for internal educational use does not extend to public marketing, and vice versa; we will ask separately for each purpose. Clients are not permitted to film or photograph other clients without their explicit consent.

Minors

Clients under 18 years of age may only participate in a Service if the booking, health declarations, and these Terms are made or accepted by a parent or legal guardian on the minor's behalf. The parent or guardian remains responsible for supervising the minor before and after the session and for disclosing any medical condition that may affect participation.

Events Beyond Our Control

We may cancel, postpone, or reschedule classes where performance is prevented, hindered, or delayed by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, typhoon signal T8 or above, black rainstorm warnings, fire, utility failure, government-ordered closure, public-health measures, or other force-majeure events. In such cases we will credit affected bookings or, where a credit is not appropriate, offer a refund of unused fees. We are not liable for consequential losses arising from these events.

Complaints and Feedback

If you are unhappy with a class or any aspect of our service, please email contact@relevehk.com within 14 days of the relevant session so that we can investigate and try to resolve the issue. We take feedback seriously and will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos, branding and other content on this Website are owned by Relevé Studio or our licensors. You may view and share this content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce, or use it commercially without our prior written consent. GYROTONIC® is a registered trademark of Gyrotonic Sales Corp. and is used here to describe equipment and methods developed by them; our instructors are certified by Gyrotonic Sales Corp.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Website links to external services we use, including MindBody, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Maps. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.

Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it to understand how we collect and use your information.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Website or Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
